Chrysler, founded in 1925, produced brands – Hillman, Fargo, Plymouth - which are still in memory even though extinct in market now. Now collaborating with company Fiat partnership is in the market with new products.
Chrysler, company's main brand of luxury cars competed with Cadillac and Lincoln. Chrysler 300 is the full size executive car. It has got all modern amenities for comfortable travel. Adjustable driver seats, music systems, best breaking system and powerful engine make it a good vehicle. 300 s is a limited edition. 300c is available as sedan and station wagon. Station wagon is branded as 300c Touring. Diesel version is with engine developed by Mercedes Benz.
Chrysler 200 is midsized convertible sedan introduced as 2011 model. Six speed automatic gear system with modified suspension and tires; it aims at more passenger comfort. LED lights and thicker cushion are also included. 200 C is designed to accept gasoline engines, hybrid technology or electric power. This way it is future safe.
Chrysler Town & Country is the family mini-van. It has replaced Chrysler Voyager and Dodge Voyager of the same class in 1990. Many major changes are introduced in 2011 version of Town & Country minivan. Engine was changed for more power and fuel economy. Interior and exterior had many changes for comfort and safety. Suspensions got retuned for comfortable travel. Sound insulation, better lighting systems, new fog lights, halogen projector head lamps and new seats are characteristics of 2011 version.
Dodge trucks once a name in the class is getting redesigned to capture market. Medium duty chassis models are fitted with Cummins engines.
Redesigned 2007 model Sprinters are becoming preferred models for city usage. Caravan is the cargo van offered by Chrysler.
Durango is full sports utility vehicle of Chrysler introduced in 2004. New version of Durango is available in 2011 with changes in body and somewhat smaller in size.
Dodge Avenger is a midsize sedan with front wheel drive. Dodge Caliber is compact car from Dodge division of Chrysler. Grand Caravan is minivan introduced as 2008 model. Dodge Challenger with Pentastar V6 engine is new version in 2011. Dodge Charger Lx is full size sedan.
Dodge Journey is SUV from Chrysler 2007 version. 2011 version is with new grills and interior. It will have Dodge logo.
Dodge Nitro is a compact SUV launched in 2007. Nitro is the SUV model introduced by Dodge after discontinuing Raider. Electronic security features and muscular appearance are new attributes added.
Global Electric Motor Cars is a subsidiary of Chrysler, producing slow speed electric vehicles. Battery Electric vehicles with a range of 30 miles at 25 mph are for use within city. Environment friendly vehicles have 72 volts battery and can be recharged with domestic power suppy. Full charging takes 6 to 8 hours. There are six models suitable for individual use, government agencies, resorts, universities or sports teams. Passenger vehicles for 2, 4 or 6 passengers are available. Different passenger capacities with flat bed for goods are also available.
Chrysler with Fiat is sure to come out with many new automobiles in near future.
